A day before his concert in Bulgaria Umberto Tozzi visited “Slavi’s Show”. The singer who has 24 gold and platinum albums and has written hundreds of songs for other artists delighted the audience with one of his hit songs – “Gloria”.

In a humorous conversation with Slavi Trifonov Umberto Tozzi said that this is his first time in Bulgaria, but he has already heard a lot about Slavi. According to him our host is known also in the boot-shaped country, but as a “golden bachelor”. This means a very good party, said Tozzi.

The great musician told the audience how he became a singer: “I was born a musician. Before I started singing I played the guitar for 8 years with various music groups. Then I started writing music, composing for other musicians and singers and my first producer told me: “Why don’t you start to sing your own songs?” So this is how I started even though I am somewhat shy. I thought I would be only a musician, my soul is that of a musician.”

Umberto Tozzi said he feels energy while on stage with his band. “While there’s this energy I will continue” said the singer at the end.
