Lepa Brena (born 20 October 1960) is Yugoslavian pop-folk singer of Muslim origin and declares herself as a Yugoslav. She is one of the most popular singers of former Yugoslavia.

Lepa Brena sold over twenty million records worldwide, which makes her the best-selling female artist in the history of the Balkans. She is the owner of Serbia’s largest music pop-folk label Grand Production. Fahreta’s nickname “Brena” was given to her by her gym teacher. Later on, Serbian showman Minimax added “Lepa” (beautiful), creating the stage name “Lepa Brena”.

Lepa Brena’s career can be divided into two main periods:
Her 16th album was released in presale on 20 July 2011, while the regular sale started on 20 August 2011. The album included nine songs. First edition was printed in 200,000 copies. Lepa Brena made sales of well over 2,000,000.00 euros in the first week of her album release.
