Ishtar visits Slavi, they promise each other a duet

With “Ya Habibi Yalla” the world music star Ishtar blew away the studio of “Slavi’s Show.” To the well-deserved words from Slavi that she is looking better and better Ishtar replied that perhaps the secret lies in her children. The singer has twins – a boy and a girl who are almost 4 years old.

Slavi explained to his guest that the incredibly exhilarated atmosphere in the studio was due to her talent and charisma. Ishtar expressed her admiration for “Ku-Ku Band”, calling it a phenomenal orchestra. Slavi quickly announced in counterpoint, attacking with the words: “If it is phenomenal, take us on a tour!”

Familiar with Ishtar’s statement for the news that she wants to sing a Bulgarian song Slavi offered her the song “Oh Cloud of White.” With a simple accompaniment the singer sang the melody flawlessly, and on the fourth verse her pronunciation was perfect as well. “A gorgeous song,” Ishtar said, while the audience in the studio applauded vigorously.

Slavi offered Ishtar to do a duet: “I was born to sing duets. Together we can do a duet and in this way you will compensate me because you broke my heart.”

Assured by Slavi that her song about eucalyptus has influenced many young people in Bulgaria, Ishtar said: “Music crosses all boundaries – of language, traditions and cultures. This is the award from music!”
