“What I hope to accomplish here is raise awareness about children who are on the streets of Bulgaria, who drink, who take drugs. I want to start here in Bulgaria, a Glenn Hughes program for raising awareness, to work with the government, with my friends from the media, the police” – said Glenn Hughes during his visit on “Slavi’s Show.” He said that drugs are a family problem, they are not just a problem of children and his desire is to bring this way of thinking from America to Bulgaria.

Asked why he chose for his noble work our country, Glenn Hughes replied that things are very different here, he likes Balkan history and although he has been all over the world, he felt something here. “There’s something which is more special for me and I can’t explain it, it is a feeling” – said Hughes. “Maybe there is something that makes me come here. Perhaps because I have spent some time here, because I see people, I know politicians. I know a little more about Bulgaria than I know about Spain or Italy.
Together with my friends from America I want to give my support and because of my name and reputation “I want to bring others here to help people recover”, he said.

I do this as a friend, Glenn Hughes concluded. “My music is music. I have two lives: Glenn Hughes – the star and Glenn Hughes – the man who wants to help children. Both individuals go together.”
