The legendary  New Wave group Alphaville visited “Slavi’s Show” and performed their iconic song “Forever Young” in the studio. The song, released 27 years ago, now has more than 20 official cover versions, including the interpretation of rapper Jay Z.

Slavi started the conversation with the singer and composer of the band Marian Gold with a number of revelations – the host listened to “Forever Young” at his prom, and he kissed a woman for the first time listening to another song by Gold – “Sounds Like A Melody”.

Marian Gold said that the group sold over 10 million copies of their album with the song “Forever Young” and added: “It’s absolutely wonderful to reach so many people with your music.” The composer feels flattered by the many covers of his songs, but said that he likes the original the most.

Gold said he believes that some of the songs that are created at the moment will also be listened to after 30 years: “I strongly believe in creativity of people.” At the end of the visit Alphaville performed one of their newest songs “Song For No One But Myself”.
