Actor Tom Sizemore known from the movies Natural Born Killers, Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor, Heat, Black Hawk Down and others spoke openly to Slavi Trifonov about the difficult moments in his life. Tom Sizemore is in Bulgaria filming Company of Heroes. In the film the actor has teamed up with another Hollywood celebrity – Vinnie Jones.

During his visit on the Show Tom Sizemore shared he was born into a poor family in Detroit. His father had five ex-wives. They were eight children of which he was the oldest. His brothers were involved with drugs, often family members were in prison. Tom himself was delivering newspapers with a fake ID card given by his mother. “I am the first Sizemore to own a car,” said the guest, and added that he had bought it for … only $40.

Tom Sizemore shared with Slavi that he didn’t want to become an actor but wanted to play football. But a knee injury prevented him from making his dream come true. Then, after taking part in performances and “throwing high” dancers in a dance theatre in New York, he was invited to participate in the play “Cats”. Thus began his acting career.

Tom Sizemore spoke frankly about his addiction to drugs. “I am 289 days clean” said the actor. He received help from Dr. Drew, in his words “the most preeminent addictionologist.” Robert De Niro also gave him support. “He’s my godfather, he should help,” said Tom Sizemore.

The actor has 3 children. “Because of them I must be a good man,” said Tom remembering the words of his mother who told him: “I don’t care what you do with your life as long as you do it well, Tommy. What interests me – be a good man!”
