Ukrainian singer Ruslana visited “Slavi’s Show” again. “These are the best musicians in Bulgaria, they are the best in the world,” exclaimed the winner of the Eurovision Contest when the Ku-Ku Band played its version of the song, decorated with Bulgarian ethno motives. She was emphatic that she needs such musicians and she will take them with her.

The famous singer was in Bulgaria for the Cherry Festival in Kyustendil this time and logically she invited Slavi to play and sing together at the upcoming event. The Eurovision winner shared she had just returned from an appearance in Paris, which awakened the indignation of the host, that she had not called him with the offer before going to Paris.

When asked about her work in the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslana answered: “I couldn’t change the whole Parliament and I had to leave”, and then she added “They put up with me for a whole year, I had too much energy.”

Ruslana didn’t miss the opportunity to express her admiration for “Bulgarian ethnic culture” which she said that she truly likes. Ruslana was strongly impressed with our women’s choirs, along with the many complex rhythms and beautiful dances: “There is hardly any ethnic culture, which I love as much, after the Ukrainian, as the Bulgarian!”
