The musicians from a band that became an international hit – SNAP were on “Slavi’s show” on Friday. The name SNAP is an acronym of System of Nuclear Auxiliary Power. In 1990 their hit “The Power” took over the charts and has been playing on all radio stations and music channels ever since. SNAP performed their hit for the audience upon entry in the studio.

In the beginning of the conversation Durron Butrel, known as Turbo B presented Slavi with a gift – a belt with the name “Turbo B”. Slavi was very surprised by the gesture as the present appeared after Turbo B spent two minutes digging through his pockets.

Turbo B revealed some personal information to the audience. One such was that at the moment he weighs 340 pounds (around 140 kg). He admitted that he feels very well but he also shared his big concern with Slavi: “I’ve been watching you in America! You’re causing me problems!” He then clarified that until recently he was the most eligible bachelor but now he was removed from that spot by George Clooney and Slavi Trifonov. “You have to get married, man!” stated Turbo B.

Durron Butrel served in the American Army, Special Forces, bomb disposal. In fact he wanted to be a sniper, but he admitted that he is too big and everyone would see him.

While he was in the military he was stationed in Germany and he found out that a band was looking for a rapper. He went to the audition and someone who had long-term vision recommended him with the words – if you need a rapper, he is the biggest!

The secret of the transformation from Durron Butrel to Turbo B turned out to be very simple – a girl gave him that name. To Slavi’s question why that happened – the answer was short and meaningful: “You know the deal. You know!”

When he was young Turbo B was in a gang. In some areas that’s all you’ve got, shared the rapper. Sometimes gangs are like a family, but I’m out now, and I talk to kids to stay away and not take part in gangs, continued the guest.

Turbo B was a member of four heavy metal groups. In The Power hit there are metal elements, shared the musician. He admitted he also plays the drums and asked Slavi for a jam session with the “hot band”. He took the place of the drum player and exclaimed that he would need a driver’s license to get these drums started. Durron enjoyed himself on the drum kit, and was also able to do very well when as a surprise Gamzata brought in a special Bulgarian sound on the trumpet.

That same evening SNAP was due to have a concert for the spring ball of disco-bar “Grease”. What SNAP was about to present to the Bulgarian audience – Turbo B explained with one word – “madness”.
